We have an immediate need for an experienced Sr. Earned Value Management Business Operations Specialist to join our team at any of our Company locations. The position will require up to 25% travel to other AR facilities.
Candidate must be an expert in Earned Value Management (EVM) theory, EVM implementation, and reporting. The position serves as the focal point and subject matter expert (SME) for EVM with the ability to conduct EV training sessions on a regular basis. This individual performs a variety of program analysis tasks using established EVM methods, tools and problem solving techniques in support of programmatic planning, evaluations and assessments, on multiple programs, with limited or no direct supervision.
The individual will serve as the liaison to the Control Account Manager (CAM) community. Key training focused on improving CAM effectiveness will be the primary job responsibility. EVM application, tool functionality, and analysis prowess are key areas of emphases in an instructor-led training application as well as responding to informal guidance requests.
The majority of this effort will be performed on company overhead but this individual will be expected to seek direct charging opportunities for approximately 15% of their time.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
60% - Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) training and guidance for CAMs assigned to Formal and EVM Basic programs.
30% - Provide key support in tailoring EVM for programs without formal requirements. Assist CAMs with implementing EV on their program and performing their CAM responsibilities.
5% - Contribute to enterprise level procedure development/maintenance and System Description updates.
5% - Support DCMA and/or customer EVMS audits as necessary. Prepare teams by directing them through data calls, reviewing submitted data, and supporting them through the review process.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements and Desirable Qualifications:
Excellent quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills expected.
Experience working with project management principles, policies, and procedures.
Experience working with EVM and project scheduling tools.
Understand and implement EVM principles, as defined by EIA-748 Standard, Earned Value Management Systems.
Proficiency with Integrated Program Management (IPM) or another EVM Cost Tool such as Cobra or MPM, and Microsoft Project.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel.
A strong willingness to be part of a team.
The ability to interface successfully with both business personnel and technical leads.
Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills.
Ability to adapt and succeed in a changing environment.
Ability to produce high quality work products under pressure and within deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto.
Pay range for this position:
120,500 - 177,166 per year
