Aerojet Rocketdyne is currently seeking a Senior Analyst, BOM Planner Analyst to join our growing team in Camden, AR. In this role, you will be part of our Scheduling and Material Planning organization (SMP) which works across the whole company and plays a key role from proposal to product delivery. We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and organized individual. Candidates will work in a dynamic position with a diverse product range.

Candidates must be willing and available to work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

Working under limited general direction:

25% - Generate and maintain engineering module (pre-released bill of material) for development programs, to ensure there is a viable MRP plan; problem-solve MRP gaps.

10% - Long Lead Material analysis and requisition generation

15% - Routing improvement coordination, and skeleton routing generation for developmental programs on targeted resources

15% - Non-BOM part creation, OSP Item Creation, OSP routing generation

15% - BOM Maintenance and analysis for procured vs consumed quantity variance

10% - Scrap and shrinkage analysis to drive increased accuracy in MRP

10% - ARBOS (Aerojet Rocketdyne Business Operating System) Continuous Improvement initiatives

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management/Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or other related discipline and at least six (6) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.

  • Operations, Procurement, Scheduling and Engineering Value Stream experience, or demonstrated willingness to learn.

  • Willingness to learn Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) such as Delmia, ASCP, Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, MS Office.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior Oracle/Delmia/Windchill experience.

  • American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification.

  • Demonstrated Lean Experience or Certification.

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this
