Under limited supervision, with no instructions needed, the Manufacturing Technician 3 performs manufacturing and quality technical assignments in the field and follows established policies. This position requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes expertise and systems. This position will be located in our Camden, Arkansas facility.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

35% - Assists with technical oversight and troubleshooting of Machining Operations involved in the manufacturing of Rocket Motors.

35% - Troubleshoots mechanical processes pertaining to the Machining Operations involved in the manufacturing of Rocket Motors.

15% - Accurately report problems, solutions and results in written and oral communications.

10% - Supports Engineers by making recommendations for Rocket Motor manufacturing/machining process improvements and aids in their implementation.

5% - Supports Engineers in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for the manufacturing/machining of Rocket Motors.

Requirements

Requires High School diploma and three (3) years of energetics related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and energetics related experience.

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, employees may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. This position may be expected to work varying hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
