We are seeking a Manufacturing & Production Planning Manager to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas . This role will work with Camden Site Leadership and Program customers. The base shift time is 6:30am – 5:00pm (Mondays through Thursdays).

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

30% - Provides direction to subordinate supervisors/assemblers based on general policies and management guidelines.

20% - Plans and coordinates integrated schedules for personnel, material and facilities utilization.

15% - Provides assistance to subordinates in meeting schedules.

15% - Responsible for assigned department budgets.

10% - Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational groups.

10% - Coordinate work programs for shift operations.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and seven (7) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience in implementation of a manufacturing process improvement activity is desired.

Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated performance in factory operations including a thorough knowledge of scheduling, planning, forecasting, performance measurements.

  • Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead effectively in a challenging team environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.

  • Willingness to be available to supervise occasional overtime work as deemed necessary by company commitment to schedule.

  • Willingness to assist in additional job duties as assigned by Management is vital.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
