We are seeking a A nalyst, Material Planning for our Camden, Arkansas facility.
In this role you willsupport program production teams comprised of manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, buyers, subcontract administrators, operations, and other necessary support personnel to produce quality tactical rocket motors on time and on budget.
The Analyst will work under general supervision to apply MRP principles and concepts to address material planning objectives such as ensuring materials are available and ready for production use when needed to support contractual requirements. Provide interdepartmental coordination among other functional disciplines and coordinate the shop floor flow and delivery of finished product.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
25% - Develop and maintain detailed material plans from program requirements and Bill of Material (BOM) to determine time-phased material acquisition and production floor schedule needs. Monitor functional progress against established schedules utilizing established MRP methodologies. Analyze and troubleshoot MRP exceptions.
20% - Coordinate and maintain material acquisition and fabrication status with other functional departments. Release orders in accordance with MRP recommendations. Coordinate the flow of work between or within departments to expedite production.
15% - Release Move Orders and coordinate the flow of all materials to and from Logistics to ensure timely and accurate transactions necessary for daily MRP runs.
15% - Determine item attributes necessary for proper functioning of MRP, analyze MRP exceptions, and work with other departments as necessary to resolve issues with demand, BOM's, Routings, etc.
15% - Assist with implementation of leading edge enterprise-wide charter for use of KANBAN/Barcoding/Scanning to ensure real-time accurate MRP data and be able to become a site Subject Matter Expert on a specific Business Process to support integration with the Enterprise Planning group.
10% - Other duties as assigned such as supporting the AR process oriented, data driven, and customer focused Business Operating System.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of directly related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, develop material requirement plans, initiate orders and coordinate materials/hardware requirements with multiple departments. Must be able to understand MRP principles and take action based on exception messages. Computer skills are required (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
